Stanlick School Happenings...

Arthur Stanlick School focuses a great deal on the six pillars of character. As a way of following the pillars of caring and citizenship the students are given the choice to participate in a tribute to Steve Irwin, "The Crocodile Hunter". The tribute is in the form a bulletin board with the header "Arthur Stanlick School Honors Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter". anyone wishing to participate is to write a letter, story or poem or draw a picture regarding their thoughts and feelings about Steve. Parents are also welcome to participate. All work will be mailed to Steve's family after the work is displayed. The students of Arthur Stanlick School are encouraged to follow the motto "Feel good by doing good". this project gives the students the opportunity to feel good!

The "Acts of Good Character Light Our World" character education motivational program is underway. Children "caught" doing an act of good character are recognized with a light bulb hung on the wall with the child's name and act of good character noted. Notes are sent home to parents and the child's name is read in the cafeteria.

BRAVO is up and running...Student names are selected from each classroom one time per month. A student receives a BRAVO award for academics, effort and character. The chosen students earn a certificate and lunch with the principal!
