Student Directions and Responsibilities

All local scholarship criteria and applications are located at http://connection.naviance.com/jths. 

This is the Naviance website that all seniors are familiar with.  Seniors should follow the directions received in their English class in order to log in to the Naviance Family Connections webpage. 

Students are responsible for reading all scholarship criteria carefully.  Although we recommend students apply for any scholarship for which they are eligible, applicants must meet all application requirements to be considered.

After students have selected the scholarships to which they will apply, all choices must be indicated on the blue local scholarship form.  This blue form will become the cover sheet for all scholarship applications. 

Print and complete all applications neatly, honestly, and completely.  Incomplete applications will not be considered.  Some application questions may seem personal, however, the scholarship committees feel that they need this information to determine an appropriate award recipient. 

Seniors should be sure their phone number and email address are accurate.  This is important since some of the local scholarships require an interview and the contact information provided is their only means of scheduling interviews.

Remember, all local scholarship applications are due to guidance by 2:15 on April 15, 2010.
