* Always keep your child home if s/he has a fever of 100 degrees or greater. Temperatures should be normal without Tylenol, Motrin, etc. for 24 hours before returning to school. * Please notify the school nurse if your child develops a communicable disease or condition such as strep throat, chicken pox, head lice, impetigo, scarlet fever, conjunctivitis (pink eye), etc. * If your child becomes ill or injured during the school day, you (or a person identified on the emergency card), will be notified immediately and expected to pick your child up within a reasonable amount of time. * Children ought to be dressed appropriately for the season and specific weather. * It is very important that your child eat a nutritional breakfast prior to arriving at school. * Kindly refer to the website and the Parent Guide & School Calendar for medication procedures and health screening information. * Please feel free to contact the school nurse at any time regarding health concerns related to your child(ren). |
