Welcome to Jefferson Township Public Schools. Our district is comprised of six elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school.  Our students are provided a quality education with emphasis on academic excellence and responsible citizenship.

As part of a long-range strategic planning process begun in 2007 five broad-based educational goals were developed by stakeholders and adopted by the board of education:

1. Students will be responsible and contributing citizens.
2. Students will make decisions that contribute to continuous personal growth.
3. Students will develop the skills necessary to be productive and competitive in society.
4. Students will respect and appreciate individual differences and cultural diversity.
5. Students will achieve academic excellence.

Last year the JT2015 Steering Committee along with individual goal committees and administrators worked to finalize a draft of the master plan, a course to chart the future of the Jefferson Township School District through 2015. This year tasks identified for 2008-2009 will begin as the district works to achieve the JT2015 goals.
