Welcome to the JTHS Website.  I hope you will find useful information about our school programs and expectations. As a proud alumnus of Jefferson Township High School, I am invested in making our school meet the needs of today’s students while preparing graduates for a productive future in the area of their choosing.  Alumni wishing to help in this endeavor are encouraged to contact me directly at kmundi@jefftwp.org.  Any knowledge, experience or services you are willing to share with today’s students will help springboard them toward greater success.

Our recent renovation provides for a state of the art facility for our students including a music wing, science labs, robotics lab, television and studio lab as well as a new athletic complex and guidance suite. The broad range of curricular offerings, in the core academics, business, fine and related arts, as well as technology completely aligns with the NJ Core Curriculum Content Standards.

Required academic and elective programs at the school build on previously acquired skills by emphasizing higher-level thinking, problem solving, and application, understanding and reasoning.  Academic, honors and advanced placement courses, as well as independent study programs, are available.  Approximately 85% of the graduates continue their education beyond high school, with 55% going on to four-year colleges, and approximately 30% to two-year colleges, specialty business, technical and trade schools. 

Jefferson Township High School offers a complete array of boys and girls athletic programs as well as a rich variety of co-curricular activities designed to foster students’ character, leadership, and identity as well as provide a dynamic culture to the school environment.
