To help alleviate any nervousness during the transition to Briggs, the incoming K-2 students visited the school. During this program the children met the teachers, explored their classrooms, and took a tour of the facility. Parents in attendance were provided an overview of the curriculum, faculty, and extracurricular offerings, as well as school policies and procedures.
The custodial/maintenance team worked very hard to ensure that the children will start school in a building which is clean, attractive and conducive for learning.
Secretarial personnel put forth a tremendous amount of effort attending to the many tasks necessary for a smooth start to the school year such as compiling the summer mailing, enrolling new students, scheduling interviews, checking in supplies, and implementing the student information system “Realtime”.
