Learning Resource Center

In response to parents' requests for more information on training, I will be providing information on workshops and conferences throughout the school year.

The Learning Resource Center (LRC), located in Morris Plains, NJ, is supported through the New Jersey State Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs. The LRC provides information services, training, and materials to parents/guardians of students with disabilities, teachers, and administrators. Special education information is available through research reports, curriculum guides , and professional journal articles. The LRC maintains and loans an extensive collection of professional books, in-service training resources, video cassettes, and instructional audio-visual materials. LRC staff provide regional in-service workshops, training institutes, and statewide conferences. Project Child Find

Jefferson Township School District, in cooperation with Project Child Find, is seeking to identify resident children, ages 3 through 21, who may have special needs.  As children become identified, the Child Study Team will provide further information regarding referrals.  For additional information please call the phone number listed above.
