Incident Payments: Fees
As with any district-owned property, the district-provided technology device should be handled with care regardless of where it is being used. School district policy for our Chromebook 1-to-1 program can be found at the following website:
Repair incidents are handled by school administration on a case-by-case basis. If the incident is deemed anything other than accidental, an incident payment fee will be issued. Incident fees are calculated by adding the cost of the part(s) repaired and the labor rate. Pricing for parts and labor is listed below. The labor costs are defined by three tiers. For example, a tier 1 repair is for one replacement part and costs $20. A tier 2 repair is for two replacement parts and costs $25, and so on. The labor cost and total amount are capped at $30 and $175, respectively.
