When students are given the opportunity to explore diverse specializations using the design thinking process, they learn collaboratively, think globally, and create solutions with a positive human impact.  The Jefferson Township School District Technology Education Department encourages students to explore the "how" and the "why" behind the challenges of our world.  By developing 21st-century skills such as initiative, communication, problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking, students learn that there is often more than one solution to a problem.

The mission of the Jefferson Township School District Technology Education Department is to nurture individuals who creatively design and seek solutions for a variety of interpersonal and intrapersonal challenges, helping them find the answers to problems while connecting to others and the world.
