Promote A Healthy Environment

    • Always keep your child home if s/he has a fever of 100 degrees or greater.  Temperatures should be normal without Tylenol, Motrin, etc. for 24 hours before returning to school.

    • Please notify the school nurse if your child develops a communicable disease or condition such as strep throat, chicken pox, head lice, impetigo, scarlet fever, conjunctivitis (pink eye), etc.

    • If your child becomes ill or injured during the school day, you (or a person identified on the emergency card), will be notified immediately and expected to pick your child up within a reasonable amount of time.

    • Children ought to be dressed appropriately for the season and specific weather.

    • It is very important that your child eat a nutritional breakfast prior to arriving at school.

    • Kindly refer to the website and the Parent Guide & School Calendar for medication procedures and health screening information.

    • Please feel free to contact the school nurse at any time regarding health concerns related to your child(ren).
